Background

Origin

Slugs have always been a source of bait for fishermen, while also being used by farmers to help clear away rotten vegetation, at least until sometime after the Royal Schism, after which they've started to mutate into dangerous aberrations.

Having unnaturally grown in size, bearing hard branches sticking out of their slimy bodies, they'll relentlessly tackle any who come close with unexpected force and weight. However, their sudden increase in mass kept them slow and unwieldy, which is fortunate for those who are fleet of foot.

Rumors

  • A handful of Plebs hailing from the upper windmills of the Howling Rift have stated that abnormally large slugs have been first sighted at the caves underneath their homes, causing them to flee and leave everything behind.
